About the Coach Chef
Marsha Gibson Heuberger is an experienced cooking
instructor. She is a graduate of the Kendall College
Culinary School. After completing the program, Marsha
was the named Director of the Kendall College
Recreational Cooking School –“SPICE UP YOUR LIFE”, at
both the Evanston, Illinois and Downtown Chicago
locations. The “Spice Up” Program was named the #1
Cooking School by NORTHSHORE MAGAZINE just six months
after Marsha began her work as Director.
Most recently, Marsha worked with Academia Barilla, a
division of the Barilla Pasta Company to establish an
international program for cooking enthusiasts to attend
culinary classes and gourmet tours at the premier
state-of-the-art center in Parma, Italy.
Marsha’s real interest is teaching people that
learning to cook
is a step by step process. “If you learn the
basics you can move on to anything. “It’s like learning to play a
musical instrument, first you learn the notes, then
chords, then you’re ready for the song. With practice,
you can make beautiful music before you know it.”
Marsha has a BS in Communication from SIUE and a MS from
Webster University - ST. Louis, in Media Communications.
She taught Broadcasting/Communication courses at Johnson
County Community College in Overland Park Kansas, and at
her alma mater Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville. |
